Global Distribution System

  • Designed the database architecture for an in-house GDS managing trip inventory and real-time bookings.

Booking engine

  • Migrated core booking services to Python / Django, handling 50K+ bookings per day while improving maintainability and development speed.
  • Built a serverless ticket-booking engine on AWS Chalice, with high-throughput REST APIs integrating Razorpay and Redbus.
  • Optimised Redbus-integrated APIs with application- and platform-level caching, funnel filtering, versioning, and booking-status checks to reduce latency.
